Personal-Use License

Last updated: 25 October 2026

When you buy a build from Jerry Builds Bricks, you get a personal license to use the PDF instructions and XML parts list. This page explains what that covers. The files stay my property, and the license is yours as long as you follow these rules.

What you can do

  • Build the model as many times as you like for yourself, your family and your friends.
  • Give a finished model to someone as a gift.
  • Load the XML parts list into Rebrickable, BrickLink or BrickLink Studio to order parts.
  • Print the PDF or keep it on your devices, for your own use.
  • Share photos and videos of your finished build. I love seeing them, so tag @jerrybuildsbricks on Instagram.

What you cannot do

  • Share, give away, sell or upload the PDF or XML files anywhere, including file-sharing sites, Discord servers, and MOC or model marketplaces.
  • Sell finished models, or kits of parts made from my instructions.
  • Edit the files and pass them on, or present my designs as your own.
  • Make build-along videos or streams that show the instructions without my permission.
  • Use the files for commercial purposes, such as paid events, workshops or products, without a separate agreement.

A purchase covers one household. Bundles are licensed on the same terms.

Clubs, schools and commercial use

If you want to use my instructions in a classroom, a club, a store or an event, or you would like to make videos from them, email [contact email]. I am usually happy to agree something.

Ownership and trademarks

The designs, instructions and parts lists are copyright Jerry Builds Bricks. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site. All models are original, unofficial fan creations (MOCs). Vehicle names and designs from films, TV series and games belong to their respective owners.

If you break these rules

I may end your license and ask you to delete the files, and I may remove content you have posted. Where the law allows, I may also take further action. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.
