Building Bricks Into a Business
Like a lot of builders, I never really stopped playing with LEGO — I just started building bigger things.
What began as weekend builds on my desk turned into a habit of filming the process and posting it, which turned into a YouTube channel, which turned into hundreds of people asking the same question: “where can I get the instructions?”
That’s the short version of how Jerry Builds Bricks became a shop instead of just a channel. Every design still starts the same way it always has: an idea, a pile of bricks, and a lot of trial and error before it’s ready to share.
These days I split my time between designing new builds, filming the free tutorials, and drafting the instruction booklets and parts lists you’ll find in the shop — so every set is one I’ve genuinely built myself, more than once.

A Few Milestones Along the Way

The First “Can I Buy the Instructions?”
Enough comments asking for parts lists that I started drafting the first proper PDF booklet.
The Shop Opens
Jerry Builds Bricks launched as an actual storefront — instructions, parts lists, and a growing catalog.
Still Building, Every Week
New designs, new tutorials, and a shop that keeps growing one build at a time — thanks to builders like you.

“The instructions were so clear I finished the Apex GT in a weekend. Already eyeing the Rally Icon next.”

“Found Jerry on YouTube and couldn’t believe the parts list imported straight into BrickLink. Huge time saver.”

“Bought the Sci-Fi bundle for my kid and ended up building half of it myself. Worth every dollar.”
